I love to explore, discover and learn so it's no surprise that traveling is a huge passion! I try to escape at least once a year. So far I've visited 31 countries on 6 continents.

Why do I love traveling so much? Well, I love experiencing new cultures, foods (!), architecture, landscapes, climates, sports and the little everyday things that makes our lives different.

I'm not much of a fan of organized tours so backingpacking is my preferred way to travel. I love the liberty of tailoring a trip to my likes and interests. But most importantly, independent traveling allows the adventurer the opportunity to discover the unbeaten path and live spontaneous moments that wouldn't happen on a strict schedule. With said, I never travel without a Lonely Planet.
