Was acountable for all traditional and digital marketing for Wild TV Inc. and its 7 subsidiaries (Canada's Wild Outdoor Expo, Recoil Creative Group, SmartOTT, Willmore Outfitters, Rock Lake Lodge, Gigecast and Kohler Beer), including conceptualizing and executing marketing and sales plans, campaigns, promotions and events.

  • Devised campaigns to increase both digital and linear Wild TV subscriptions.
  • Social media marketing: Launched a successful Web 2.0 strategy for Wild TV. Increased Facebook ‘Likes’ and engagement by 19%+ in only two months.

Oversaw all of the company's departments: Sales & Marketing, Operations, Fleet, and HR.

  • Operated and owned 9 retail stores and 5 satellites, a fleet with approximately 880 vehicles ($22M), over 80 employees, including 11 managers/directors and an operational budget of $6.5 million.
  • Grew revenues from $6 million to nearly $10 million within three years.
  • Developed new markets: Successfully developed and opened one new retail outlet and two new satellite offices.
  • Devised and implemented strategies to save and cut costs; was ultimately responsible for the company’s profitability; restructured the company’s organizational chart and job descriptions, saving the company over $100,000 per annum in salary costs.
  • Administered the company's properties and commercial lease agreements.
  • Acted as information resource and trouble-shooter for department heads as well as maintaining an open door policy for lower level employees.In conjunction with the franchisor, oversaw the strategic marketing of the Discount brand at the retail and commercial segments.

  • Succeeded in increasing revenues by an average of 25% while maintaining an average fleet increase of only 15%.Structured and streamlined the operations department for efficiency and future continuity, resulting in improved productivity and standardization of department procedures.
  • Dealt with various media companies, such as newspapers and radio, for advertising and promotional purposes.

Was responsible for the marketing and re-marketing of the product line for a fleet size that averaged 600 vehicles: determined the product line, the purchasing and sales of both cars and trucks.

  • Prospected and developed new clientele in Alberta, the Maritimes, North Eastern United States, France and Germany and made significant gains.
  • Developed and launched Location Americar’s website which targeted the wholesale vehicle remarketing segment.
  • Was responsible for vehicle repairs, maintenance and parts costs as well as accident and damage claims, and succeeded in reducing per unit costs by $50 per vehicle, per month, which resulted in $360,000 in annual savings.
  • Implemented a purchase order system to better measure, analyze and understand repair and maintenance costs.
  • Managed a team of 3 employees and reported to the Director of Operations.
